5 PAX braved the torrential drizzle to meet up at Mugs for our Friday morning run. We have been switching things up lately around Hoppy-like in an attempt to cater to a more diverse set of speeds by the PAX.
Conditions: 70 degrees and spitting rain/drizzle.
After a brief welcome to Wreck regular Smackdown, we moved out south on Main Street. The plan was to run 22 minutes south and turn around and return to Mugs so that we would all get done at the same time. Devito and YHC fell in together at an 8 to 8 1/2 minute per mile pace and the second group of Zima and Lumbergh settled in at a 10 minute per mile pace. Smackdown ended up between the groups and was almost caught up with Devito and I as we turned around to return. We all came together with a 1/2 mile to go and brought it in to the finish together.
Nice to be out for a run with the AlphaMen. Devito is pushing the pace (and YHC), Smackdown is running strong and Zima and Lumbergh are pushing it and getting better.
