The Girlfriends Visit the Cumming Dome

It’s been a while since the girlfriends and I have visited Big Creek. They always enjoy meeting new people and I enjoy that as well. So YHC packed up the girls (well, actually they just live in my truck) and with the approaching rain, wind and colder temps I planned a 0.0 workout in the Cumming Dome.

Now, if you have never been to Big Creek this AO has a pavilion that will seat about 200 and has a beautiful peaked roof. And lights you can’t turn on without a key of which we had none.

But we had the tunes! I trotted out my Queen workout playlist because I’m tired of the Christmas playlist and I like Queen. So after positioning the truck under the edge of the roof and cracking the tunes we got rolling.

Warm up

SSH and Weed Pickers. Then let’s get rolling.

The Thang

Grab a girlfriend and a partner. So as to keep the heart rate pumping and the bodies moving Partner 1 does an exercise to a count while Partner 2 does AMRAP of a different exercise. When Partner 1 finishes his reps the roles are swapped. Continue like this until the song is over then two new exercises are preformed int he same manner until the plank and Mary.

All of the exercises seemed like a great combo yesterday. Today they seemed like some sadistic old cuss put this workout together. Well, I can only blame myself.

You get out of it what you put into it. I was spent.
