Preamble:
A crisp chilly star filled sky greeted the pax, Expectations were set for a low mileage beatdown based on YCH's posting on Slack the night before. At 0529 the mumblechatter started ramping up. A bit more than usual for the Norseman, and most directed at YHC, all well founded and all with love! YHC cut that off when the clock struck 0530 and off the pax went.Warm-O-Rama:
Mosey on to the big parking lot for some Hill Billies, SSH, Arm Circles, Covids and Weed Pickers.The Thang:
The pax moseyed down to drainage ditch and each picked out a coupon. Only once all had a coupon, YHC realized only half the coupons were needed for the BD so half went back to return them. Once that was sorted, all went on to the football. The pax split into groups of four and each group positioned themselves at a corner of the field for some Tabata. 30 seconds of exerise then 25 seconds to get to the next corner of the field to do the next exerise. Lather, rinse and repeat with each whistle. YHC grossly underestimated a) the cumulative distance that was going to be covered for a low running BD and b) the amount of time necessary to get from station to station for the pax. YHC figured if Usain Bolt could do it in 9.5 seconds, the pax should have no problem with 25. The pax seemed to handle the running well enough and only complained if YHC was in ear shot.
