PAX (8): Corn Dog, DDoS, DirtyMO, Mantooth, Paparazzi (Sri), Snake, Swiper, Todd Doherty l F3 UMass

With a lot of PAX headed off for the Smoky Mountain Relay tomorrow, I thought it would be fun to incorporate a relay run (Indian run) around Big Creek.

PAX moseyed down to the track and circled up in the parking lot for some SSH, Hillbillies, Good Mornings, Weed Pickers, and Michael Phelps OYO. We then proceeded to the track for our BD.

The Thang:

Once on the track, we got the blood flowing with 20 Star Jumps OYO. After that we went straight into M3 (Mantooth's Merkin Mile). 2:30 minutes on the clock to complete a 400m run and 15 merkins. Once 2:30 minutes is up, we start the next round for 4 total rounds. The PAX that were able to complete all 4 rounds finished a mile run and 60 merkins in 10 total minutes (more than what most people do in an entire day). After that, we SMR ran to the back of the bean. Once at the bean, we partnered up for one lap around the bean while the other partner completed Supermans (10 seconds on and recover until partner returns from run). YHC then called an audible from the original plan and we completed 25 Mountain Climbers (alpha count) and 25 Reverse LBCs OYO. After completion, we SMR ran to the coupon pile. At the coupon pile, PAX were instructed to pick a "good size" for the next set of exercises. We completed 25 Sumo Squats, 10 Man Makers, and 25 Rows. Rinse and repeat for 20, 8, and 20. And then 10, 5, and 10. We returned our coupons and SMR ran back to the flag. With about 45 seconds left, we completed 3 burpees OYO to wrap up the fun. Reflecting back on the BeatDown, it was revealed that at each spot we stopped, we completed SMR exercises (StarJumps, Merkins, Run - Supermans, Mountain Climbers, Reverse LBCs - Sumo Squats, Man Makers, Rows).

Grateful for Scampi's NLB event and sharing his message! Prayers for safe travels and health for all those that are participating in SMR.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Now that the weather is warming up and more PAX are coming out of hibernation, it's important that we show up to not just "check the box" but that we push ourselves and each other to be better than when we arrived. Good work men!
