BDAY Celebration

Preamble:

Well, the big day is finally here.  YHC turned 40. 3 Pax joined me for the Pre-Run on the Firehouse loop.  Now when we started the run YHC noticed 3 cars parked by turf field 2…more to that later.

Warm-O-Rama:

Once the pre-runners got back we joined 10 other pax for a fun-filled beatdown.  Quick mosey up the hill for some SSH”s, Weed Pickers, and Merkins.

The Thang:

So we moseyd over to the big parking lot for my first attempt at Strava art and if I had to say so myself it turned out pretty good.  During the run lots of confusion from the Pax as they had no idea what we were doing.  I think I heard my first Nacho is making this up on the fly.

We went back to the pavilion and did 11’s.  Burpees at the top and Merkins at the bottom.  Pepper decided to modify to Burpees at the top and Burpees at the bottom.  Nice work on modifying to make it harder!  lol…

After the 11’s we went on to the second phase of strava art and ran around turf field two.  We did merkins at each corner.  When we made it on the field there was something in the middle.  Bottom Bunk investigated and let the pax know that we had two live bodies in the middle.  I guess we had a few of ISS’s friends take part in a stargazing event.  Sorry to bust up the party.

After the four corners, we mosey over to turf field 1 for our last bit of strava art.  At this point, the pax knew I was making it up as we went along and finally had to let them know to look at the strava art when we were done.
