Last week YHC signed up to Q but fartsacked, so when Pothole asked who’ll take the Q I felt it was an opportunity for redemption and took the Q.
An informal disclaimer was given.
4 PAX started the WOR with a longer than usual mosey in the parking lot, 2 full rounds ending with a short sprint. Continued with Mountain Climbers, Weed Picker, Baby Arm Circles forward and backwards and Hillbillies.
YHC instructed to pick up a heavy coupon for slow movement, no reps.
We lined up at bottom of the stairs for double 11s, starting with 1 Copper Head Squat and 1 BBSU at the bottom of the stairs and 10 Derkins and 10 Dips at the top. Carry the coupon with you up and down.
When we finished the first set of Derkins we saw the NLB car coming. We came down to see Turbo Snail come out. A more formal disclaimer was given and we went with him to pick up a coupon and we all restarted the 11s.
At the end of the 11s we moseyed in the parking lot as active recovery, then returned to the stairs.
YHC called Bunny Hops up the stairs, 20 Merkins on top, Bear Crawl down on the grass and 20 Donkey Kicks at the bottom.
YHC was huffing and puffing, trying to master the courage to call for Rinse and Repeat when Pitstop said those three little words I needed to hear – “It’s time, Q”.
NLB workout this Saturday, hosted by Windjammer. Kudos for the running group that begun there.
Pitstop’s son got tested for Covid.
Today I finished 4 years in F3. Tomorrow is my Anniversary. I’m still amazed how much positive impact this group had in my life. I look better, I feel better, I am better. And there’s still a way to go. THANK YOU!
