Prayer’s for tomorrow’s Santa Ruck…may we all get caught up in the powerful spirit of giving.

Walkie Talkie started a great Truth Nugget discussion about how Gratitude is the gateway to contentment. It’s about appreciation, not accumulation. Gratitude is not a feeling as much as a focus and a habit that we have to learn and be intentional about. It doesn’t come naturally, as those of us who have or have had small kids know. Gratitude is a learned behavior. The challenge is practice the habitual intentional action of gratitude with a goal of contentment. We can still have goals and push ourselves but let’s be better at being content by regularly being thankful for what we have…not just around Thanksgiving, but daily and throughout the year and regardless of the season/peak/valley/situation. There’s always something to be thankful for.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

“God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, let nothing you dismay. Remember Christ our Savior was born on Christmas Day.”

“Christmas is the day that holds all time together.”

“Christmas is most truly Christmas when we celebrate it by giving the light of love to those who need it most.”

“Christmas gives us an opportunity to pause and reflect on the important things around us.”
