13 showed up for Nacho’s final Q of the quarter. YHC had three ideas for the final Q and actually decided on the way to Rubicon on the final plan. The first idea dealt with going over to Brokeback Mountain, the second idea was the chopper, and the third idea was the parking deck. While I debated I just couldn’t see my last Q not involving the Children of the Corn. On Saturday our Q clocked our first mile at 12 mins. So who doesn’t like a challenge? So we mosey over to the Children of the Corn at a pretty fast pace.
15 Side Straddle Hops
15 Cotton Pickers
15 Imperial Walkers
Fast Mosey to the top of the hill in downtown Alpharetta behind Smoke Jack.
Fast Mosey to the fountain in front of city hall.
15 Lunges – at this point YHC looked at our distance and we had covered just over a mile and it was 5:41. That is and 11 min mile with three breaks. I believe that is a new Rubicon record.
We moseyed to the top of the parking garage. This is where the Q started to struggle and the regulars started to shine. I watched as Hickory, Crack, Boomer, and Cookie just blew by. YHC has some work to do to stay in the front of the Pax.
Now as we waited for the six the Pax sat in the people’s chair with the exception of our resident architect (hickory didn’t trust the top wall of the parking deck)
Lazy Dora – with your partner 300 LBC’s while one partner is doing the exercise the other is holding six inches. After all the reps are completed mosey down to the next level. 200 Squats one partner is doing the exercise the other is holding air chair. After all the reps are completed mosey down to the next level. 100 Merkins one partner is doing the exercise the other is holding plank. That was going to be it but the Q noticed we still had one more level to go so we mosey to the bottom. 50 Burpees with your partner.
Now the pax were cutting it close on time so a quick mosey toward the flag with stops at Smokejack (15 plank jacks) , Pure (15 Reverse LBC’s), and on Old Milton Highway (15 LBC’s)
The Pax headed back to the flag for COT.
