Eggplant Receivers?

AO: Firehouse

When: 03/31/2022

QIC: Ace Ventura

PAX (7): Ace Ventura, Dunshire, Glitter, Janeway, LifeLock VPN, Lightweight, Tool time

Preamble:

Don’t ask about the title.  You had to be there.  If you know, you know.

YHC and Janeway show up for a prerun.  It was pouring down rain, but we knew acceleration doesn’t take a day off, so neither did we. These PAX ran 2.2 miles in 21 minutes before the other PAX began showing up for the main event.

Warm-O-Rama:

Rain?  That doesn’t stop a HIM.  We moseyed to The Spot TM.

10 Side-straddle hops

10 Weedpickers

10 Hillbillies

10 Toy Soliders

Michael Phelps on the way to the pavilion

The Thang:

Originally this beatdown was going to be the beginning of You v. You, but with the massive amount of rain YHC called an audible.  He decided to rip off… I mean pay homage to a classic Zuckerberg beatdown.

All PAX are under the pavilion and one PAX chooses an exercise.  The other PAX do that exercise while he runs to the stop sign down the hill and back.  After all PAX have done, we do a short mosey around the parking lot.  Not all exercises were selected, but here are the ones recalled by YHC:

LBCs

Side-Straddle Hops

J-Los

Burpees

Rosalitas

V-ups

Rows

Merkins

Incline Merkins

Decline Merkins

Bonnie Blairs

Big Boy Crunches

Dying Cockroach

Leg Raises

Pickle Pounders

Monkey humpers

PAX were able to complete 3 full rounds of this right as time expired.

COT:

PAX had several very personal prayer requests (will keep them personal for the sake of this document),

Glitter delivered the MOC.  He emphasized how we should take pride in the fact that we showed up this early to better ourselves.  This group of PAX (or any that show up on any particular day) accomplishes more acceleration before 7 AM than the average person (especially the sad clown).  We must keep remembering our victories as we push forward, and not solely focus on our failures.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

PAX met for coffee, where ironically the rain immediately ended.  Our SkyQ wanted us to do sometime tough this morning and blessed us with great weather once we were done.

These PAX continue to inspire me personally, but they also fill me with a sense of community and love.  YHC has felt particularly welcomed and loved by these men and hope we will continue adding to this family with individuals that need this in their life.

Also, per tradition, Glitter continued his lecture series on the proper ways to defecate, including the uses of Squatty Potty TM and the bidet (which apparently, he was a salesman for?).
