An “In-Tens” Coupon BD

AO: Meathouse

When: 2024-05-21

QIC: Harding

PAX (10): Breach, Dinghy, Fuzzy Dice, Gasleak, Hackeysack, HIPAA, Meatball, PuffDaddy, TURK

I confess... I do like a good coupon BD... and as I was looking to pay the good folks of Meathouse a visit, I realized the Q spot was open. I took the opportunity to serve the fine men that share the love of the cinderblock and landed my name on the Q sheet. This would not be my first Q, however my inaugural Q at Meathouse and Alpha... the "steaks" were high, and I'd hope to cook'em well done...! (though I prefer medium-rare)...

Pretty standard: Week Pickers, Windmills, Baby Arms Circles & Reverse, Seal Claps, Hillbillies. Then, slowsy with coupons to BD area...

The Thang:

  • Pax line up along the edge of the grass area in front of the stage.
  • Each PAX with a cinder block coupon. Weight vests were optional as a modify-up: I'd call that "beast mode" and some of the PAX took that on.
  • Structure consists of 3 Rounds of each exercise performed TEN reps each in a row, then a short mosey on the grass area and back (this is the resting between sets!).
  • Rinse & repeat OYO non-stop until Timer ends.
  • Time was 9 min per round, however this was unknown to the pax at the time the start.

Round 1:
  • Thrusters
  • Single hand rows (5 per side)
  • Alternating 1-hand on coupon Merkin (single ct)
  • Gas Pumpers holding Coupon

Round 2:

  • Coupon Swings
  • Coupon Curls
  • Skull crushers
  • WWII’s

Round 3:

  • Deadlifts
  • Reverse lunge (single ct)
  • Merkin + coupon drag (single ct)
  • Legs over coupon (alpha ct)
... slowsy back to start.

Mary:  all 10x IC

  • OH coupon imperial walkers
  • Plank coupon step down ups
  • Reverse plank step down ups

  • Memorial Day 5/27 - Murph Day at this location Meathouse/Bridge AO.

  • Prayers for Gasleak's family traveling, graduations, and others said and un-said.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

I'm incredibly thankful for the opportunity to lead these fine gentlemen. The PAX certainly killed this BD, and as always, I am both humbled and motivated by the work they all put in, and the show of support during my first Q at this AO. God willing, this will not be my last visit!
