Santa Claus Training Program

Preamble:

12 Pax gathered for a holiday tradition for early December…the Santa Claus training course!  Most of the Christmas themed BD’s have already been swept up the chimney, but there’s always one waiting in the archives…off we go!

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey to the standard starting point for BC…slow playing the warm up and keeping an eye out for @Baskins as he had to take a slight detour after the pre, but we headed up Mt. Kill-a-man Jaro to the first pavilion/ house:

The Thang:

Each pavilion represents a house where Santa will be required to show all of his skills.  The standard routine includes:

10 Derkins – pushing off the sleigh

15 Step up’s (Alpha) – walking up the slanted roof

20 dips- grabbing the side of the chimney to lower yourself down

AND then…PAX pull a “naughty or nice” card from the deck.

Stop 1:  Nice = 24 LBCs

Stop 2:  Nice = 22 flutters

Stop 3: Naughty = 25 burpees

Stop 4:  Nice = 20 Big Boi’s

Stop 5:  Naughty = 15 Wolverines

Stop 6:  Naughty = 15 Hugh Jackman’s

COT:

Great effort by all of the PAX…prayers for:

• Struggles during the season:  addiction, depression, anxiety, pressure.  Amidst joy, we also experience a wide range of emotions.  Do not feel them alone and think you have nowhere to turn.  Iron sharpens iron.
• Prayers for Benny’s Dad for health concerns – prayers for the fastest and easiest path forward
• Prayers/ praise for YHC’s dad who turned 79 today.  Significant challenges this year with a battle with prostate cancer and a hip replacement.  It’s tough to realize that you won’t be here forever, so peace as he continues on the journey

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Huge week for F3 Cumming, with (2) events that will serve a big role in establishing our identity as a growing and successful sub-region:

1. Santa Ruck:  8:15 – 9:30 AM @ Kroger on Exit 17 – we’re loading up the ruck sacks and whatever additional transport vehicles we need to and partnering with “the Place” in Cumming to fill the needs of many in our community.  We’ve already seen an incredible outpouring of love and generosity – let’s dig deep and make an impact that shows we are here for the long haul.
2. F3 Cumming Holiday Celebration:  4 – 7 PM @ Stoney J’s Winery on Stoney Point Road. – F3 Cumming PAX and Ms will celebrate and enjoy some holiday cheer!   18 confirmed – join us in celebrating a great year and a bright future for F3 Cumming!
