At Least It Wasn’t Freezing

Preamble:

The Q sheet was empty…and apparently I didn’t look too closely at the weather forecast. Nonetheless, still need to do some post-Thanksgiving conditioning.

There was definitely heavy rain…and possibly some lightning. But since we were already awake, why not get in some work.

Warm-O-Rama:

Due to the conditions and need for a little shelter, we started at the sports park pavilion, after a little mosey from the cars.

The Thang:

Pax completed sets of 30 reps of each, then 20, then 10…with some jogging place to avoid unnecessary slippage on the soaked pavement between each round.

First round – Derkins, Drydocks, Dips

Second round – Squats, Step-ups, Mountain Climbers

Beatdown concluded with a Captain America (or is it Thor?) in honor of the USMNT victory.

Ratio of 1:4 Big Bois to American Hammers. Hoped to get to 10:40, but may have fallen a little short due to time.

Blood drive has been rescheduled. See Slack for all of the details. (A short reminder from Walkie-Talkie about the importance of donating, as nearby school was asking for platelet donations to help young girl battling leukemia.)

Tough morning not to sack, but knowing others could be there provided that needed motivation to show up. Grateful for the camaraderie on a rough morning.
