Preamble:

After returning from a week of vacation on the west coast at 2:15am the previous night, what better way to get back on east coast time than to lead a BD at Big Creek?

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey to a “new” spot for a some of the usual suspects including SSH, Weed Pickers and Good Mornings.

The Thang:

Heavy focus was placed on keeping this BD simple with minimal counting and heavy mumblechatter encouraged. Why you ask? After 1 week of OYO runs and family hikes in the PNW, YHC wanted to embrace the 2nd F while supplying a solid 1st F experience for everyone. Here’s what went down:

We commenced on a partial tour of Fowler Park totaling over 2 miles. The first stop in front of the rec center included 5 Burp & Merks. This was a new exercise for all of us and it received positive feedback.

Stop 2 was made at the concession stand walls where all PAX got better acquainted to said walls by performing balls to the wall until Q called time.

Stop 3 was at the top of the soccer fields for some simple step ups until Q called time.

Stop 4 was at the tennis court bleachers for some dips until Q called time.

Stop 5 was in the dark end of the part that nobody visits where we performed a second round of Burp & Merks. Since the first round was so thoroughly enjoyed, the count was set to 10 this time. Enjoyment levels dropped with this increased workload.

Stop 6 was halfway down the hill for some Bear Burp Mountains. After partnering up, PAX 1 would bear crawl to a designated spot up the hill while PAX 2 performed burpees. PAX alternated until target rep count of 50 burpees was achieved.

Stop 7 was at the railroad guardrails for some racoon crawls.

Stop 8 included some mountain merkins in cadence.

Stop 9 was at the pavilion for some box jumps.

Stop 10 was at the playground for some swerkins while other PAX planked to wait their turn.

We ended in the old COT area for 1 minute of Mary (T-Bombs and Freddy Mercuries).

COT:

FIA/F3 convergence on 8/6

Darth Visor Memorial CSAUP on 8/27

Prayers for Snowman’s mother in law’s health concerns

Naked-Man Moleskin:

I thoroughly enjoyed the mumblechatter throughout and appreciate how that makes F3 so great!
