Dog Days of Summer

Preamble:

12 HIMS/HIDS gathered for this first in Alpha event.  The group seemed to get along after a few butts were sniffed.

Warm-O-Rama:

Lum-Bark led  Warm-o-rama with the usual (SSH, Imperial Walkers…)  at the base of Widowmaker Hill.

The Thang:

The group paired up for Dora on the grass field by the base of Widowmaker field.  2 Humans with a dog made up most groups with the dogs running non-stop while the men alternated exercises and running.  (We did have a water station for the dogs).  Exercises included paw-release merkins, burpees, squats with coupons, presses, curls, skull crushers…… and yes a few fire hydrants.

Funyan, TMI,  and Stu had to explain  to the young-uns what a “Three Dog Night” meant as we listened to some golden oldies.

Lumbark led Mary back at the flag

Naked-Man Moleskin:

All PAX were very well behaved.  Fun time was had by all.  Thanks for participating in a bit of an experiment.  No sign of False Start today.
