You do you (then you do me) two

AO: Gladiator

When: 06/30/2022

QIC: Moonshine

PAX (11): Cheneral, DREAMER, Macbeth, Moonshine, RaspberryPi, Scratch-Off, Snowbird, Spandex, Speedo, Tar Heel, Brownie

Preamble:

It is so humid.  Rain already!

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey to the pitch where we will be spending our entire morning.  SSH, Week Pickers, Michael Phelps, Imperial Walkers, and a quick Indian run around the pitch to get our legs warmed up.

The Thang:

A (more experienced) repeat of the morning activities from the Wreck the previous day, the PAX partnered up and lined up on the center field line.  Each PAX picked something they needed to work on physically and came up with an exercise to do for 3 straight minutes.  Then at the end of the 3 minutes they switched, doing whatever their partner picked. The odd-man-out did 6 minutes of burpees.  This went on for 5 rounds, switching partners after each round.  For the final round, any PAX who had not yet been given the opportunity for 6 minutes of burpees got to do that instead.

YHC thought better of this idea when he saw his partner Brownie bear crawling for 3 minutes straight. Revisions may be needed before another attempt.

Back to the flag for 2 minutes of Mary’s including LBC Flutters while waiting for Scratch Off to contemplate how a canoe is actually a type of boat (mind blown).

COT:

Praise for Spandex’s two little ones on a mission trip with church.

Check slack for 4th of July festivities near you – plenty to choose from.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

One of the objectives of F3 is to develop male leadership in our communities.  This workout was designed to exemplify this idea.  One good first step in becoming a leader is looking at yourself and figuring out what you need to improve on and then go out and do what you need to do to make that change happen.  Then you can take what you learned and share it with others, and take what you can learn from others and use it to improve yourself.  Also, this was a beatdown that was only as good as the effort put into it and YHC saw a lot of hard effort being put into this one.  YHC will have some sore abs tomorrow and thanks to Brownie’s bear crawls and MacBeth’s Carolina dry docks some sore shoulders as well.  And a bonus, YHC got to instruct Speedo on the “proper” way to do J-Lo’s.  As always it was an honor to lead.
