Under the Light of the (Lunar) Moon

AO: The Wreck

When: 11/19/2021

QIC: Donor

PAX (05): aflac, Choo Choo, Cutie, Yankee

Preamble:

After an amazing day supporting @Goat on his 50th Birthday Ultra, Q was certain we’d have a light load.  Light we were but mightly did we conquer.  Happy Birthday again GOAT!  You are a true inspiration.

Warm-O-Rama:

Under the light of an still shining Lunar Eclipse, PAX moseyed over to the parking lot by the football/lacrosse fields.  Circled up for the following:

  • SSH
  • Imperial Walkers
  • Weed Pickers
  • Plank Jacks

Let’s Mosey!

The Thang:

Thang 1:

Q led PAX over to the far reaching shelter in the RAP Galaxy.  Under the shelter PAX completed the following sequence:

  • 10 Merkins
  • 10 Shrugs with park bench
  • 10 Dips
  • Run a Lap

Rinse and Repeat while decreasing count by 1.  PAX worked our way down to 1 each.  Laps were run on the small paved trail above the Shelter.  Most PAX weren’t familiar with the trail and Q underestimated how dark that trail would be.  After 2 Laps, Choo Choo sustained a sprained ankle so a route change was in order.

Thang 2:

PAX moseyed back to turf field for a 4 Corners.  Add previous exercise at each stop:

  • 10 Slow Squats
  • 10 Monkey Humpers
  • 10 Fire Hydrants
  • 10 Burpees

Thang 3:

With still time on the clock, PAX moseyed over to the playground for a little Morning Call.

Round 1:  Pull Ups and Big Boys

Round 2:  Pull Ups and J-Los

Back to the Flag for a short round of Mary with American Hammers, Flutters and Dying Cockroach.

TIME!!!

COT:

Prayers for Choo Choo’s friend who was recently diagnosed at 43 with Colon Cancer.

Bushwood site hosting a Turkey Trot.

Aflac has the Hogwollow Q Thanksgiving morning.  Eyes out for more details on this run.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Twice this week conversations have popped up about getting annual physicals.  Gents!  As we get older this is very important.  Its quick and painless and they can detect so much from urine samples and drawing blood.  Please schedule an annual physical with your doctor.  Do it for your family.
