Preamble:

With surrounding AOs reaching exciting-but logistically challenging-PAX counts, the call came to launch a new Alpha location, preferably somewhere East of 400, West of 141, and South of 120.  A task force was formed, and a quick glance at the Alpha region location map was met with a finger on Newtown Park, and a resounding, “Why the H-E-Double Hockey Sticks do we not have an AO right here?!?!”  Upon asking a few of the old-timers, we soon learned that it had been tried, but alas that early, ragtag crew was not embraced by the local parks and recreation leadership.  Well, if at first you fail, don’t be afraid to go out there and fail try again.   A few scouting sessions of Newtown, as well as other potential sites (a Jew, a Muslim, and a Christian run through Rock Mill Park in the dark… stop me if you’ve heard this one before) confirmed that Newtown is an ideal location.  Word went out, a flag was made, and today we officially launched The Boneyard.

Welcome and disclaimer, followed by a short mosey around the pavilion and circle up for SSH, Weed Pickers, Windmills, Imperial Walkers, Little Baby Arm Circles, then mosey to the LaCrosse field for the main event.

The Thang:

3 Corners

3 cones identify a right triangle, with the following exercises to be performed at each:

Cone 1: Merkins

Bernie Sanders to Cone 2: Big Boys

Karaoke to Cone 3: Squat Jumps

Run the hypotenuse back to Cone 1

Start with 21 of each exercise, decrease rep count by 3 each lap

Mary for 6

Dora

3 Cones in a line.  PAX partner up and half of the teams go to each end of the line.

Partners take turns performing exercise until all reps are completed.  While 1 partner is exercising, other runs the line, alternating either running to far cone (and back) or bear crawling to near cone (and back).

Mary for the 6 or until time expired.
