Preamble:

The morning began very early in the...well morning.  Dunshire and Schneider arrived on the scene first.  Not a soul was to be seen until 5:20 am when all of a sudden Ace Ventura arrived!  The rest of the Pax then showed up, most of which were late, but we'll get to that.

Warm-O-Rama:

In the beginning we mozzied (spelling?...ah whatever, we ran slowly) around the parking lot until we came almost full circle back to where it all began.  During the Mozy most of the Pax arrived...late.  Can you believe it!?!?  Anyways, the Warm-O-Rama consisted of the following exercises lead by the one and only Dusnhire: 15 Side Straddle Hops 5 Weed Pickers 15 Imperial Walkers Sun Gods Michael Phelps After the Warm-O-Rama the Pax proceeded up the hill for their punishment...err I mean the Thang.

The Thang:

The Thang of it is called The Dora's of Dunshire. Twenty exercises were listed on the board.
  1. Burpees
  2. Diamond Merkins
  3. Merkins
  4. Arm Release Merkins
  5. Plank Jacks
  6. Mtn. Climbers

One twenty sided dice was rolled to determine the exercise Another 100 percentile dice was rolled to determine the reps (10-100 in increments of 10) The Pax partnered up to complete whatever exercised was chosen by the god's of chance. You know how Dora works, but I'll explain it simply all the same for Ace Ventura's sake.  One partner did the exercise while the other partner ran to the third street light on the left.  When the partner, who was running, returned, they would switch off and repeat. The exact reps escape me, but it went a little something like this:
  1. 60 Burpees
  2. 60 Diamond Merkins
  3. 30 More Diamond Merkins
  4. 60 Merkins
  5. 60 Squats
  6. 40 More Squats
  7. etc.
  8. etc.
  9. you get it...
Oh and also Lifelock hurt his little toe. We ended with a round of Mary...Merry...Meri?  Whatever.  That consisted of:
  1. WWII Situps
  2. Leg Raises
  3. American Hammers
  4. Freddy Mercuries
  5. Windshield Wipers

COT:

In the end Baskins was the 6th man.  He shared about his stage of life and the loss his M's side of the family have been facing lately.  He also shared about his experience with F3 and how he appreciated the community that he's found with the men of Firehouse and that how a lot of guys in their 30's and 40's inadvertently isolate themselves from deep friendships. Dunshire had the MOC.  I shared about my family and the struggles my M and I faced as a special needs family.
