Thank you to Ballboy for tagging me on a slack convo that I was Q tomorrow at the Hooch, I was about to flip a coin whether to travel to Tucker for a Sasquatch Beatdown by Wham-O or travel up to Sugar Hill to the Coliseum for a Bulldog Beatdown. Instead, I head back to the best AO in all of Alpha, with the best PAX who often cross the river to come to F3Gwinnett AOs… the Hooch!
As we circled up the cars kept coming. Eventually 21 men were in the circle wondering what we were going to get ourselves into today.
Circle around the lot.
Plank for 6
Side Straddle Hop
Plank (because they were all quiet in cadence)
Imperial Walker (still quiet but moving on)
Mosey toward Perimeter Church. Been a while since we visited and had a donut, so we stopped at the Round a-bout for a Homer’s Donut.
Continued on to Perimeter Church parking lot near stairs and bridge entrance.
Prior to COVID 19 shutdowns, we did a Big Bang, which involves circling up tight. At the call of Exercise… PAX run x steps away from the center of the circle and perform a specific exercise and predetermined reps. When done, sprint back to center.
YHC has been thinking how to incorporate the F3 workout deck in with this, and also give a reward for the PAX who returns first. Honor System.
So, with a white board in hand (actually in ruck) YHC would draw two cards. First determined steps away from center. Add 10 to number cards, face 25, Ace 50. second card = exercise and reps. Add 10 to number cards, face 25, Ace 50.
We kept track of who was back first. Winner gets coffee on the Q. Doughboy ‘won’ but when it came down to the rewards, Doughboy didn’t want the reward, so YHC paid for a guy named Soo who happened into Starbucks.
Around 0605, we indian run back to the flag and picked up the six all the way back to the flag.
with a few minutes left, Mary:
200 circle merkin…
Reminder about Darth Visor CSAUP this Saturday and Gwinnett Stone Mountain Ruck this Saturday.
The mumblechatter was so great today. The Hooch really is a great group of guys. Coffeeteria afterward talked about how we can educate our children on the worlds problems so they will know how blessed they are, but also how we all can get involved in helping be a solution.
