Windjammer “The Birth of Hip-Hop” Q by Townie
PAX (10): Cart Path, Cookie, Milli Vanilli, Funyon, Uga, Walkie-Talkie, Cox, Townie, Dr. Rico, NRA
On this date in history…August 11th 1973 is considered the Birthday of hip-hop. DJ Kool Herc performed his unique style of breakbeat on the turntables (DJ’ing) and often times talking over the record in cadence (emcee) at his sister’s birthday party in a rec room basement in the Bronx, NY. Today we will pay homage to this man with a soundtrack of old / new / haha just kidding it’s all from the golden age of hip-hop

Keep sending positive thoughts, vibes, and prayers out to our PAX and their family member, friends, co-workers going though tough time. IT WORKS! Special thanks to Cart Path for sharing how this worked for him recently. Praise to all PAX who donated, attended, and cooked for the No Longer Bound beatdown this Saturday. Eye opening experience for us, and hopefully for the residents there as well.
Even for short runs, we tallied up about 2.5-2.6 miles of run today. Nice work gents. Honored to lead you, thanks for coming out!
