Glory in Tribulations

Preamble:

Today YHC is glorying in tribulations – a true feet of mental fortitude given that he was presented with an entire herd of male donkeys (“the Herd”) to shepherd through the gloom this morning.  The incessant indications of displeasure with the morning’s events from the Herd has led YHC to devote extra time in prayer for each of the Herd member’s families in what must be a real struggle having to deal such fussitude every day under the same roof.  YHC trudged through the beatdown remembering the old Burkian adage that “it is a general popular error to suppose the loudest complainers for the public to be the most anxious for its welfare.”

Homer’s Donut races; the Herd did mary exercises while 2 Herd members at a time raced in bear crawl around the parking lot landscaping island.  Betting on racing was encouraged.

50 Calf raises on stairs followed by 50 pigeon toed calf raises followed by 50 duck walk calf raises

THANG 4

50 Reverse Merkins (lie on ground on back under railing and use railing to pull up with plank position in what looks like a reverse merkin)

50 V-Ups

A quick round of F$&@ F$@@ Goose from the F3 Exercise List.

THANG 6

Partner exercise – one Herd member does front and backward dips on side of the pool while other Herd member swims 50 yards with stroke of choice.

Deep end pool basketball while treading water.

COT:

Jimbo got a CFO job in his hometown of Tallahassee and will be moving soon.  We lift Jimbo up and wish him all the best.  His big heart and quick wit will be deeply missed in the gloom.  Going away drinks date and time TBD.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

It was dark this morning in the gloom and the Herd members unruly.  But YHC remains standing and his headlamp still alight fighting to impart some manor of gentlemanliness on this motley crew.  He glories in tribulations.
