PAX (18): Boomer, Flo, Scrooge, Sunshine, El Matador, Dawn, Homer, Pooh Bear, Sneakers, Ready Mix, Option, Splinter, Feathers, Stickers, The Dab, Jimbo aka Gidget, Ball Boy, Meatball
After Ha-Ha brought the girlfriends out for Wednesday, it was time to follow this up with another shoulder and core beatdown. The weather was warm but not raining, and all enjoyed the second fake spring of 2019.
Mosey lap. Weedpickers, SSH, squats. That’s it.
Partner up and grab a ruck. Mosey to the bottom of the curved hill. Partner 1 walks/shuffles up the hill with the ruck overhead while Partner 2 begins manmakers. Partner 1 cannot move forward unless ruck is over the head. Turn around where the concrete changes. Come back and switch. 100 total manmakers. After 100, partner 1 runs up the hill and back while Partner 2 completes weighted merkins. 100 total. Pax thought this was too easy and wanted more.
Mosey back to the pavilion and up against the wall. Partner 1 lunges to other end with ruck. Partner 2 holds balls to the wall. If unable to hold one’s balls to the walls, 5 burpee punishment and hold people’s chair. Repeat twice. Pax thought this was even easier and demanded more.
Mosey recovery lap. Return for shortened DORA. 100 curls, 100 presses, 100 skull crushers. Partner runs to end of pavilion and back. Pax now mocking YHC for the ease of this beatdown.
Circle up for Sally. With all the growth, Sally was new for many pax, and she didn’t disappoint. Couple minutes left for Mary and done. The PAX got all of YHC, and they were up to the challenge.
Prayers for El Matador as they leave for India tomorrow to bring home their son, Isaiah. Can’t wait to meet him and get him out to a 2.0 beatdown in a few years.
Prayers for The Dab’s group of middle schoolers. Both the bullied and the bullies.
Jimbo advocating for appreciating each day and our health. Also his name is potentially changed to Gidget.
