Feel the rain, feel the pain…The Drought is over…

After what was widely regarded as a crisis-level lack of rain from late October until last week, it appears that all is right in GA with brother Cantore camping out in the F3 Alpha Region quite a bit in the last 2 weeks.  After an early text from the QIC, Darth Visor, letting me know that he was suffering from a bout of either the “Fartsack Flu” or the “Why couldn’t we have drawn Wisconsin fever,”  YHC had to scramble to come up with a plan that would accomplish the following:

  1. Attempt to brave the elements after getting called out by the Heat Miser of South Town (a.k.a the Rubicon) for staying under cover during the last rain storm
  2. Not venture too far from the Superdome in case Cantore did decide to make a return appearance, as fielding some smack from my Rubicon brothers on Twitter is still more appealing than doing burpees underwater

Here’s how it went:

Warm up’s:

SSH, Windmills, Hilbillies

Mosey to long parking lot for BLIMPS starting at 5 and adding 5 with each exercise along the tree line, alternating sprints and back pedals between stops

Burpees- 5

Lunges- 10 each leg

Imperial Walkers- 15 each leg

Merkins- 20

Plank Jacks- 25

Squats- 30

Rinse and repeat starting with 10 Burpees on the way back

Onward to the Sundial for some Dora 1,2,3’s with a partner.

Partner 1 sprints to the track while the other partner works on the following:

100 Dips

200 Step up’s

300 LBC’s

Mosey back by the coupon dispenser for 2 rapid fire rock sets, 20 each of curls, Skull Crushers, and OHP’s

Back to the flag for some Mary:

Box Cutters

Flutters

Rosalita’s

COT:

-Prayers for job searches for Hammer, Big Dipper, and Darth’s daughter.  Feeling like something is ready to open up and create a new season for all of them

-Prayers for Darth’s rapid recovery from whichever illness mentioned above might have slowed him down this morning.  Temps are dropping, so we trust he will be motivated to return, perhaps with some new tights to show off

-Prayers for a blessed holiday season for all of the families of F3 Alpha
