Take a vote

When: 04/28/16

QIC: Crack

PAX (): Nacho Libre, 45, Def Con II, Mercury, Law Dog, Crack

In this season of political gibberish, Crack stands as a man of the people, for the people, by the people.  Thus we took a vote on how much to run.  The options were: a mile or less, around 2 miles, or more than 3.  Crickets for the most part, but 45 is still influenced by MTV’s Rock the Vote commercials.  A mile or less receives the only vote and you already know that Crack is a man of the people, for the people, by the people, so today’s fun had somewhere between 0.9 and 1.0 miles. Finally, a politician that fulfills his promises!  And I did not even have to HC to meet such promises. Speaking of HCs (or PCs for some), the PAX believed we would be joined by GRITS and Darth Visor. They would have enjoyed the morning’s small running campaign.  Prayers for their M’s!

The Thang:

  • IC from the picnic area, cotton mills, cliff hanger arm-ups twice, dips
  • To the hill viewing the FOD, clock docks, a triple nickel with the worst merkin ever and LBCRs, finished with a Joe Hendricks up the hill
  • Here is where the running takes hold as we go all the way to planters 2.0. From there, we were introduced to 40’s (not ID’d as 45’s yet, but we are men of the people, for the people, by the people so expect an upcoming edit) with dips and box jumps.  30 box jumps at one go are way more difficult than they seem. Solid work from Mercury to push through like a champ!
  • From the planters 2.0 ALL the way back to the SF where we did lazy dora.  Look it up on the exicon for details.

COT

Great effort from today’s Ridiculous 6.  While Foghorn was not there, he was NOT fartsacking, so don’t even think like that. Mercury and 45 are prepping for their VQs, maybe via a joint effort.  You guys should look up WEINKE on the lexicon.  Almost all, including YHC, have all used them to get started.

Finally, I mentioned the loss of someone that quietly impacted my life more than 10 years ago. In his death, he impacts me still as a sit in awe of how many others were just a fortunate to know #HIM. Take a minute to peruse his FB page and you will find a real example of a HIGH IMPACT MAN. The funny thing is, he truly lived 3rd and thus would have never identified himself as so. https://www.facebook.com/creig.soeder
