White Lightning!

Preamble:

Five brave souls, joined YHC on a slightly cooler than anticipated spring Dunwoody morning, but it didn’t take long for us to heat things up.

What was to be a running evolution, quickly got turned on its ear, but I digress.

Warm-O-Rama:

(All in Cadence) SSH, Imperial Walkers, Windmills, Cotton-Pickers, Squats, Stone Mountain. (Two rounds – X15 and then X10)

The Thang:

Mosey from the P.O.P to the entrance to the school and out to Roberts drive for a quick jaunt to the church next door for a little 4 corners routine.

Corner A – Merkins, Corner B – Squats, Corner C – SSH, and Corner D – LBCs

1st round – 2, 4, 6, 8 – 2nd round (double it) 4, 8 12, 16, – 3rd round (double it again – 8, 16, 24, 32 – what the heck, we’re having fun – 4th round (double down) – 16, 32, 48, and 64. (ouch)

Mosey back to Austin for some cone work.

Round 1 – Suicides (5 merkins after each cone)

Round 2 – Alternating Lunge Walks and Broad Jumps

Round 3 – Inch Worm, Bear Crawl, Crab Walk

Some where in there we did some Mary – LBCs, Rosalita, Leon’s Box Cutters, Flutter Kick, Obliques (left and right), and Mason Twists. (all IC and all x15)

Finally we moseyed to the picnic benches for a couple of rounds of dips, step-ups, and incline merkins. (x10 and 2 rounds)

Back over to the cones for Round 4 – Increasing Burpees at each cone – 2, 4, 6, 8, 10.

And back to the P.O.P – 10 hand release merkins OYO…and that’s a wrap.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

For the 1st time in some time, Fireballs was not the WarDaddy at a Saturday beatdown. We welcomed his Virginia Br0-In-Law who edge him out by a few years.
